ARE YOU A NEW FASHION GRADUATE?
If so, what are you doing now that you've left uni?
After the panic of those final few weeks - making sure your garments are finished, tweaking your portfolio, getting your business cards printed - you might be having a well earned break.
Which is all well and good, but don't leave it too long before you start job hunting!
You should now have a good idea of the type of role and company you might be interested in, and what sort of style your work would suit best. It's now time to begin applying to fashion companies and fashion recruitment agencies and get the ball rolling.
The most proactive fashion graduates get the jobs - not always the best designers.
You really need to look far and wide for fashion jobs these days, as they aren't always advertised on the open market, and if they are advertised, there are many more jobs boards than there used to be. Stay focused and proactive, and do a couple of CV send outs every day, making sure to keep a good track record of your progress.
Have you just graduated from a fashion course, and not sure what to do next?
