Those of you who are regular followers of this blog may remember that we posted about a new concept store called Wolf & Badger last year. When we first met Creative Directors and Owners, Samir Ceric and Zoe Knight, a few months ago, the store was just that - a concept.
Well, we popped down there last night for their launch party, and what a difference a few months makes! Back in September I remember thinking that Zoe and Samir had a hell of a lot of work to do in order to pull off such an ambitious project, and I have to say that they've done it remarkably well.

There are quite a few 'concept stores', pop up shops, and projects out there for new up and coming designers these days, however most of them spring up in gritty locations, and the ubiquitous Shoreditch / Brick Lane land of 'cutting edge' hipper than hip streets. Often stores are created on a shoe string and look kind of half done.
Wolf & Badger couldn't be further from this if it tried. Situated in the rather more up market Ledbury Road, West London, the store is glossy, well designed and above all, EXCITING!

Right from the start, Zoe and Samir were keen to showcase really unique, beautiful pieces from the hottest new talent in the UK and Europe, and the culmination of their hard work and vigorous selection process has resulted in a real triumph.

There's an amazingly eclectic mix of product, from womenswear and menswear to baby and kids product, homeware and accessories. What stood out for me - more than the clothing - was the beautiful selection of accessories and jewellery - bold statement pieces from jewellery labels, Carianne Moore, Katherine Wardropper (cool name!), and Merle O'Grady were all beautifully presented and left me with a desire to buy lots of lovely new things!
A purple and leopard print silk scarf by Helen Ruth also hit the mark, as did the stunning ceramic homeware (not sure who they were by, but check out my photos on the right - totally unique and special).

Get thee to the store pronto: 46, Ledbury Road, Notting Hill, London / www.wolfandbadger.com
