We're really excited to tell you that The Fashion Careers Clinic is holding a free short course at the Fashion & Textile Museum in London. The 10 hour course will be held across 2 days on the 13th and 14th April 2011 and is designed for students aged 16-18. It's completely free and anyone can apply - but hurry as we only have 20 places!
This course is called - not surprisingly - Fashion Careers, and over the 2 days, we'll tell you all about the range of different jobs in the fashion industry. We'll be covering creative roles, such as fashion designer, stylist and makeup artist, as well as roles in fashion business and production. Based on our How To Prepare For A Career In Fashion book, the course is informal and includes advice from top industry experts via a series of interviews. You will also get the opportunity to take part in a practical workshop, develop a personal action plan and CV, and learn about further education and how to find work experience in fashion.
