The Role:
Mudpie, an established international fashion trend forecasting company, is looking to extend its team within their large UK design studio based in Romsey, Hampshire. Our leading B2B online trend service Mpdclick.com is looking for a fashion business journalist to take responsibility for compiling and supplying relevant editorial content to our subscribers. This busy role involves reporting on and analyzing trade fairs and industry events taking place around the world. You will be co-ordinating our team of local reporters and maintaining a close relationship with show/ event organisers and press offices.

Specific responsibilities will include:
• To source and write great features from a business to business perspective
• To analyze trends coming from international trade fairs
• To nurture, maintain and make use of a wide range of contacts
• To co-ordinate a global network of freelance reporters
• To collaborate with other members of the team and across the business

Profile:
Although this is primarily a fashion role the editorial is written from a business point of view. This role would suit a business studies graduate or journalist with excellent English language skills and an interest in both Business and Fashion. You must also be able to think creatively about the layout of content. Proficiency in design software, all Office applications and online content management systems is also an advantage.
