New Vacancy for Fashion Editor at Mudpie!

The Role:
Mudpie, an established international fashion trend forecasting company, is looking to extend its team within their large UK design studio based in Romsey, Hampshire. Our leading B2B online trend service Mpdclick.com is looking for a fashion editor to take responsibility for compiling and supplying relevant editorial content to our subscribers. Working with the website manager and editor, the post holder will have up-to-date knowledge and experience of the fashion industry and garment terminology, trend forecasting and sub-editing.

Specific responsibilities will include:
• To deputise for the editor as required
• To source and write great features
• To proof read and deliver feedback to the editorial team on aspects of content
• To nurture, maintain and make use of a wide range of contacts
• To collaborate with other members of the team and across the business
• To contribute to Mudpie’s trend research and development process

It is essential that you possess experience as a features writer or assistant editor on a B2B publication with a proven ability to produce creative, accurate and innovative copy. You must also be able to think creatively about the layout of content. Experience in managing a small team, unique projects and deadlines will be of benefit. Proficiency in design software, all Office applications and online content management systems is also an advantage.
