The Fashion Careers Clinic is once again holding the Fashion Career Course at the Fashion & Textile Museum in London this week. The two day course runs from 10.30am-4.30pm this Friday 8th and Saturday 9th June.
FREE for 16-18 year olds, the course includes:
- summary of the UK and international fashion industry
- outline of the various roles available within fashion, focusing on careers within design, trend forecasting, styling, buying, makeup, journalism, fashion PR, pattern cutting and production
- guidance on finding work experience, writing a CV and cover letter and networking
- the opportunity to meet industry insiders - a designer, stylist, pattern cutter and buyer and ask them questions on what their role involves
